Our Measurement Guide
Measuring your body accurately is essential for selecting the right fit for dresses, tops, shorts, and pants.
Follow these steps:
1. Gather Your Tools:
Use a soft measuring tape, a pen, and a notepad to record your measurements. Ensure the measuring tape is flexible and can easily wrap around your body.
2. Wear Fitted Clothing:
For the most accurate measurements, wear fitted clothing or measure while wearing minimal clothing. This helps to avoid any excess fabric that could distort your measurements.
3. Measure Your Bust:
- Stand straight with your arms relaxed at your sides.
- Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your bust, ensuring it is parallel to the ground.
- Take the measurement while keeping the tape snug but not tight.
4. Measure Your Waist:
- Locate your natural waistline, which is typically just above your belly button.
- Wrap the measuring tape around your waist, ensuring it is level and not twisted.
- Keep the tape snug but comfortable, and take the measurement.
5. Measure Your Hips:
- Stand with your feet together and locate the fullest part of your hips.
- Wrap the measuring tape around this area, ensuring it is parallel to the ground.
- Record the measurement while keeping the tape snug but not constricting.
6. Measure Your Inseam (for pants and shorts):
- Stand straight with your feet slightly apart.
- Measure from the top of your inner thigh down to your ankle bone. For accuracy, you may want to have someone assist you with this measurement
7. Measure Your Sleeve Length (for tops):
- With your arm relaxed at your side, measure from the center back of your neck, over your shoulder, and down to your wrist.
-
Ensure the tape follows the natural curve of your shoulder and arm.
8. Record Your Measurements:
- Write down all your measurements clearly, and double-check for accuracy. It is advisable to take each measurement twice to ensure consistency.
- By following these steps, you can confidently select apparel that fits well and enhances your personal style. Accurate measurements are key to achieving the perfect fit for any outfit.
- It is advisable to measure yourself while wearing minimal clothing to ensure the most accurate results. If you find yourself between sizes, it is recommended to choose the larger size for a more comfortable fit.
